If you cannot do the muscle-ups do 120 pull-ups and 120 dips. This is a necessary skill that will only be learned through practice. Scaling may be required, but only scale in intensity, not reps. If you can't do a muscle-up, do muscle up progressions, pull-ups/ring dips, or assisted pull-ups/dips...just make sure you do all of them.
