FRIDAY 091211

Complete five rounds of:

On the rings, lower from an inverted hang, slowly, with straight body and arms, 7 reps
15 Ring Push-ups

Move SLOWLY and methodically, attempting perfect execution.

Ideally this is done with two pairs of rings - one pair hung approximately 8 feet off the ground and the second 4 inches off the ground.

I am not 100% sure I did the 'lowering' right, since my arms would bend when I got between 45degrees and parallel. Think I should have raised the rings higher and it would have helped. I did the WOD with the rings in the Position that they were left in (Mr. Leary's set-up?). The Ring push ups were killer as well, the last round I was doing them one at a time....LOL.

I know it was not for Time, but it took me 22:45.

Rode my bicycle to and from the gym from home, so I had me a little endurance workout in there as well! Kept a steady average of 24mph on the way there, but on the way back I was between 16-19mph due to the headwind. Wore me out! Not to mention my thermometer on the cycle computer said it was only 38 degrees!

If anybody has a question about these inversions, the WOD page on the mainsite has a video to watch to give an idea. It is hard to pay attention to though, because the chick is SMOKING HOT! LOL....
