From one end to the other, basketball court is 25m....down and back is 50m.I am going to try this, but since my HS exercises all suck I may need to find subs...LOL...From the Mainsite comments I have pulled some info on subs for the hand walk and warm ups:Gymnastics Warm uphttp://journal.crossfit.com/2009/11/the-russians-gymnastics-warm-up-1.tplsub: wall runshttp://www.gymnasticbodies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1392sub: bear crawls or wheelbarrowsGood Luck!
OMG !! My arms are killing me Had to do 3 rounds but i could not even get 3!! I'm so mad at myseld but my body is just not there yet! time was 10 min and some sec =(
Did some MAJOR scaling and subbing for this one...LOL.Started off trying some hand walking in the Gym. Yeah right. Been a long time since I tried that. So I tried the Wall Runs and decided that was what I was going to do...100 of them for 100 feet. Ended up having to do the WOD here at home since I ran out of time at the Gym. Round 1:So, I started with the Wall Runs. Seemed harder on the carpet than on the hard gym floor. Took me 5 minutes to do 50 of them (toes only on wall). Then I decided I would do only 50 instead of 100. Onto the Handstand Holds...Nope! Like 15 seconds in and my Deltoids were on fire. I decided to scale the whole workout from here. So, knees on the arm of the couch with body in pike position for the 2 minutes (which actually took like 3.5 since I had to keep coming down to let the blood back out of my noggin, and because I was burning). Knees on arm of the couch for the pike position HSPU Progressions x 15.Rounds 2 and 3:Kept with the Pike position for the remainder of the WOD. Decided to stay with 100 of the Wall Runs (knees on the couch arm this time), the Handstand Holds were killer, the HSPU Progressions sucked, too...LOL.Time (minus the 6 minutes alloted for the holds)- 18:50My abs were on fire after this was done!
